[ Severus is not bothered by her attitude, nor her appearance. Having been very young himself when he took over his position at Hogwarts (he's still young), he's not inclined to find fault in her for being who she is. The opposite, in fact, he'd rather support it given the opportunity to do so genuinely.

Perhaps it'd be a very different meeting if not for some of her subordinates.

In the room she directs him to, he spares a glance at the animals, neither charmed nor bothered. Severus waits until she sits down to do so himself. His silence does not seem stubborn, just coincidental. So far he's had nothing to say. When Tyke asks for his account of what happened, he's calm, his low voice even, gaze steady. ]

Edgeworth contacted me asking to meet in person. He wouldn't answer about why. [ At this, Severus takes out his comm device and pulls up this exchange before handing it to Tyke. If she wants to poke at it she can, there aren't any encryptions on it. He doesn't try and excuse his attitude at the other man. If him being rude turns out to be justification for the assault, well, there's no helping anybody, is there. He'd rather be transparent and get it overwith. ]

I met with him. [ At whatever point, he'll take his device back and put it away. ] He accused me of conducting an 'absurd campaign' [ quotes audible, Edgeworth's exact words ] against Sirius Black, and demanded that I stop. I told him I was doing no such thing, because I'm not.

[ This is emphasized. Severus does seem slightly annoyed, now, like he's tired of having this shit dragged out for the millionth time. ] Black and I were schoolboys together, and did not get on. In Black's mindset, he is still a schoolboy. But I'm not. I come from his future, and I don't have any time for it. Edgeworth wouldn't accept this, and argued with me about it. I tried to leave, and he grabbed me. [ Severus indicates his upper arm absently. ] He said, 'Don't you dare walk away from me.' I told him to let me go, and he threw me against a desk. He came towards me again with his hand outstretched towards my face, [ and here he mimics the gesture at Tyke from afar, slowly. ] I cast a stunning spell aimed to get someone his size and weight off of me. Immediately after, I was thrown with incredible force into the far wall. I'd struck my head and was disoriented, and I reacted instinctively, casting a spell to momentarily disable him from attacking me again. It worked, but Edgeworth became angry after, accusing me of attacking him unprovoked. He said he would 'come after me' and ensure I spend the rest of my days here in the brig.

It took some time for him to understand what had happened, while I couldn't leave. He was between me and the door, but I wasn't confident that he'd let me leave without a struggle, and I didn't want either of us to be injured further. [ That is honest, for the record. Severus, despite being an asshole of rockstar proportions, is not actively sadistic. If he were the evil mastermind some of these people believe him to be, Edgeworth would be dead now - either from Severus defending himself, or from him cursing him out of the way to leave. ] I was injured, so I sat down. I spoke with him for a long time, and he appeared to be unstable. He went back and forth between moments of lucid anger, and what I can only guess to be states of panic that, after a while, became moments of apparent despair. He told me he'd been tortured by Morgoth on Arima, and accused me of being of his ilk.

[ Again, Severus sounds annoyed. That is an intense accusation, and one he did not suffer lightly. He's still offended, frankly, after having gone through being assaulted only to have his attacker accuse him of being an actual dark lord for defending himself. The fact that Edgeworth admitted such a thing is why Severus went to Xavier; something is clearly wrong with Miles due to that experience, and Severus is aware of it. At no point has he attempted to demonize the other man. He's just reciting what happened, and even using phrases like 'appeared to' and 'seemed' when speaking about Edgeworth's mental state instead of trying to project a decision about it. ]

Eventually he seemed to calm down, and demanded I go to medical with him. I had rested enough to leave under my own power, so I opted to do that instead. I did go to the medbay immediately after. Peter Petrelli attended me and will have my records on file.
