[ It's a while before he replies again. Hours-- he falls back asleep, since his head still killing him. He wakes up and continues to want Lupin to have a personality transplant. Maybe with a dry paper bag. That would be significantly less troublesome than the wet paper bag act. Even a plastic one would be an upgrade.

What the hell is this train of thought.

Severus shoves his comms device back on his nightstand, and then grabs it again three minutes later. ]

I know you think whatever sickeningly dangerous setup you had in school is sufficient simply because you managed to subside on dumb luck and Dumbledore's negligent protection, but you are wrong. It was unfair to you and every other student at Hogwarts, both as a wizarding rights issue and a safety issue, and so it's unfair to everyone here as well. I refuse to believe you aren't taking it seriously, but you are acting like you aren't taking it seriously, and I don't know how to express to you how difficult that potion is, how intricate those wards are but how still utterly unacceptably minimal those efforts are in the overarching scope of our society.

I am not trying to keep you under my thumb or make you indebted to me, I actually give a damn about the issue, Lupin, and it'd help if I didn't feel like I was shouting into a dull void who's ignoring me whenever he thinks he can get away with doing so.
