You've never been kind to me, but -

[She recalls those beaver teeth and him saying he didn't see a difference. Ouch.]

I think it's a shame you feel that way. How far will we get if we stay in opposition of one another based on grudges held in our world?

I don't approve of bullying. If that's how he chooses to interact with you or anyone else, that's his choice. I'd rather have open communication.

[She is having a strange moment where she is mixing Sirius up with Draco. The desire to bully is there, but it's...

She has a feeling Sirius can be crueler. Brave bullies are the worst. At least Draco is a coward.]

I think the House conflicts are silly, personally. Quidditich only exacerbates them, so it's good that game can't be played onboard the ship.

[Except she feels a twinge of guilt. Harry would enjoy flying.

She hates it.]

[And this is why she tries so damn hard to get his attention in class. Because he's difficult and he presents a challenge. But she quickly learns that his verbal bites hurt. Yet that pain is part of what toughens her for the war.]

I won't stand for the bullying, I assure you. Good night, Professor.

[She'll leave it at that. Ron was right when he called her scary.]
