I was here before. I don't remember it because the last time, I was older. Possibly already dead. People from my world have come and gone. Older, younger, remembering, not remembering. No consistency except one thing: the story never changes.
Our individual experiences are linear, but reality isn't.
That is the opposite of what you just said to me, man. I mean, I know which one I'd rather believe, but the arguments against the second are compelling.
It is in no way the opposite. If I learn how to make lasagna here, and I don't remember it when I get back, I'm still completely capable of learning how to make lasagna.
I'm gonna let my previous statements speak for themselves.
( if harry has any ~feelings~ about that post, they're mainly, you know, about himself, peter, gwen. annoyance that he let himself be publicly vulnerable in any way. remorse for his actual behaviour towards the people who spoke to him, nah. like whatever. he pulled his punches with the real tragic cases. )
Easy fixes are a con. We're talking about the life's work my father didn't even fucking achieve.
( he's desperate enough to do something incredibly stupid when cornered, not deluded. which is almost worse, maybe. at this point in time, back home, peter is counting on the fact that harry is doing what he thinks he'll do: use the resources at his disposal to actually do the work needed, buying peter time and maybe actually getting himself somewhere.
and if not for snidely fucking whiplash, it might work. unfortunately, when harry is cornered, why go home when you can go hard? )

( he would genuinely like to know because at least that would provide some kind of frame of reference for him to work with. )

Anecdata on this place doesn't point to anything promising.

Easy fixes don't exist. You'll have to suffer and bleed for it no matter what.
