It consists of nothing beyond a little background noise - other people talking quietly, the sound of machinery in action. It was probably a misdial, but as the shuttle Harry is on is out of range, there's no way to call him and confirm it.]
[ If it's an accident, it's the most coincidental misdial in the history of misdials. Severus doesn't catch it in time while the shuttle's in range - fittingly, he's in the shuttle bay itself when the call comes. And when he himself is down on Arima, their communications don't work. Despite himself he tries, but only once.
In between the time Harry leaves the Tranquility and the time Severus does, he's put it together. It isn't difficult. It is exactly what he'd become worried about the first time he saw Harry with Morgoth, and some part of him thinks that this is exactly what Harry deserves. Not just for being stupid and gullible but for being stupid and gullible with a creature of pure darkness that everyone knew the true nature of, and at the same time coming to him for help with odds and ends tied to Voldemort. All the while laying complicit with another just like the Dark Lord.
